Hearses
We have a complete fleet for all your transport needs, in this case, we can provide a hearse that will be used to carry a coffin from the funeral home to the service, and it also carries it to the cemetery or the crematorium. We respect the final journey of your loved one, therefore we make sure that every detail is personalised in a way that is special for you. We can tailor-make the journey to be either discrete and minimalistic or flamboyant.
Traditional hearses
We maintain our traditional hearses to a very high standard. We are here to help your loved one arrive safely and on time. Our beautiful fleet of either traditional black, silver or even two-toned hearses with a mix of black and silver is available just for you. We include a variety of makes including Jaguar, Mercedes, Ford, Volvo and Vauxhall. If you would like a specific make, you can let your funeral director know and they will do their best to follow through and accommodate your needs.
Funeral procession
For safety purposes, we advise the family and friends who are driving behind the hearse as part of the funeral procession to turn their headlights on and maintain a close but safe distance. We will provide cortege markers and flags if you need them so that other motorists can be alerted and to keep the procession together. However, please note that the route we may use may not be exactly the same as that of satellite navigation if you are using the system.
Alternative hearses
As we always say, when wishing for a more personalised option, we will respect your wishes and ideas. Alternative hearses provide a way to reflect these wishes or the wishes of the departed loved one based on a hobby, interest or simply remembering what they liked. In a recent survey that we conducted, we realised that requests for alternative hearses have increased by a fifth in the past three years. Therefore, we have added an extra two hearses to our fleet; a multi-coloured rainbow hearse and a poppy hearse. We go all-in for you and always do our best to accommodate you. 48% of our funeral directors have been asked to source an alternative hearse for a funeral service; here are the top 10 most unique ones:
