Children’s Funerals
We want to help your departed loved ones final moments be treasured. As we all know, with current government advice, funerals will be a little different. However, at Tehy Care, we assure to help the moment be a love-filled one and with details that are personalised to help you bid the dearly departed farewell.
What is provided for children’s funerals?
We make sure that a comforting presence is established as we show our support to the family. As a parent, you’re allowed to be as specific as you wish while we arrange things for you. The Children’s Funeral Fund for England provides assistance with some costs for someone under 18 or for a stillborn baby after the 24th week of pregnancy. This fund covers the burial fees, the cremation fees and a coffin or shroud up to £300. This suggests that our services are free. You will, however, have to purchase ministers fees and any additional fee that’s not included in our children’s funeral services section.
What free services does one provide for children’s funerals?
- The completion of all sorts of funeral-related documentation, third-party liaison and advice is roofed. This is often a part of the director of the funeral and any aspect of the arrangement of the funeral.
- A home for your dearly-departed as we offer the best look after them. We will also place them in a different exclusive room for you to enjoy privacy as you visit. We fully respect your rights as a parent in seeing them as often as you need and wishing for them to be dressed in a particular way.
- Upon request, we also do the embalming.
- You can choose the sort of coffin you will like, whether it’s a simple coffin or a biodegradable one, fully lined or with a soft interior.
- According to what you are feeling sits right with you, we will provide a vehicle for you and your child or a hearse and limousine.
- The choice of the route that you simply wish for during the procession is the one we are going to use.
How we are able to personalize your service?
For some services, you must add an additional fee to completely personalise the service.
- Incorporating your child’s favourite colour throughout the service. This may be using flowers, balloons, photo displays or table cloths and such with the colour they loved.
- Since the Children’s Funeral Fund contributes £300, we are able to claim back any additional cost up on your behalf and you’ll not be charged if you want to settle on an alternate coffin.
- Hand out seed cards if your child loved flowers. We will personalize the cards and place seeds for guests to grow their own plants as a tribute.
- A personalised casket, urn or keepsake. With an unlimited range of styles or images, we are able to help celebrate your child’s life and interests.
- Catering. This may have specific meals in line with your wishes.
- A range of transport options. For the hearse, we will find one that matches their personality and make it even more special. As an example, with a green funeral, a bicycle hearse is right because it helps impede carbon emissions and make the funeral eco-friendly.
