Tehy Care Funeral Home is aware that it quite devastating for parents who have lost their child to arrange for the funeral, and Tehy help the parents with the funeral arrangements so us to reduce the burden of the parents and the family members. Tehy Funeral Home offers support to the parent and family members and ensures a comforting environment is established so as to put the mind of the bereaved at ease during difficult times.
Tehy encourages the parents to be specific as they are giving instructions of the funeral arrangements to the funeral home. The Children’s Funeral Fund, that was started in 2019, also comes in handy in supporting the bereaved parents. They provide assistance with some burial or cremation cost to all children under the age of 18 or for stillbirths after the 24th week of pregnancy regardless of the income of the family. Tehy’s services are free since the costs of burial or cremation and coffin are covered by the Children’s Funeral Fund. However, the bereaved parents are expected to pay for services they wish for the burial and cremation but are not covered by the fund.
The free services offered by Tehy Care Funeral Home for children’s funeral are; the director of the funeral completes all funeral documentation. They also liaise with a third part to ensure the funeral arrangements flow smoothly. Tehy provides a home for the departed and takes care of them until their funeral, a private room is provided, where the deceased is kept for the bereaved parents and family members to have privacy when they come visit. Parent can visit their deceased child as often as they need. Tehy also provides a hearse or limousine for the parents and the deceased child.
To completely personalize the service parents are expected to add additional fees. We can incorporate the child’s favorite color using balloons, photo displays and table cloths. To help celebrate the child’s life we also can personalize caskets and urns with the child’s favorite images and styles.
